Give thanks unto the Lord,
For He is very good;
He is loved and adored,
So abide as you should.

He gives mercy and grace,
It endures forever;
And to feel His embrace,
Love that will not sever.

Let those the Lord guarded,
In repeating each word,
Say them as imparted,
Until each ear has heard.

Those the Lord defended,
From the power of all their foes;
Having been befriended,
Of the ones that He chose.

Here from many nations,
From the east and the west;
Building new relations,
With the best of the best.

They wandered the desert,
On a deserted road;
Putting so much effort,
Not one creature bellowed.

But they hungered and thirst,
And began to lose hope;
Felt as if they were cursed,
Making it hard to cope.

They cried out to the Lord,
With being in distress;
As if they were ignored,
Their feelings they confess.

He rescued from their ills,
And led them down the road;
To a town near the hills,
Where many do abode.

They gave plenty to drink,
So they could quench thirst;
Giving them time to think,
How the Lord put them first.
