Yesterday I spend a day at Veteran's clinic
I want to say nice things how I have been treated
I hear the horror stories
I also saw the pride of those around me
Veitnam veteran, Korean Veteran, World war two
I was honored to be in the same building
Walkers canes wheelchairs the same pride
A lady said to me, "thank you for your service!"
Thank me? There are allot of people
who could only wish to live in the United States
I thank you for honoring me
For looking around it is my honor serving you
