Mom's Unexpected Surprise One Christmas

Having seen Mom use the same bowls and things; in the kitchen, I wanted Mom to have something new.
So I bought her one Christmas shortly before she had passed away a whole new box of dishes and glassware plus silverware.
The total costs was only a few dollars but it was all I had to give Mom that year.
Placing it under the Christmas tree we had, Mom often would look at the box and wonder what was in it.
Then the big day came for us to open our gifts and to Mom's surprise it was the dishes and everything there.
Mom looked at me and smiled which was my gift in return for what I had given Mom.
The joy of the day was really something else for I was able to prepare the meal for us.
It was a special time of good feelings and love was very much there.
I love to remember this time for it was the next year that came where I was only able to give Mom two dollars which; in turn she gave me five.
This is the last Christmas we ever spent together here on the earth but will have many times of celebrating the holiday with the True Savior and Lord on His birthday many times over.
Jesus is the One for Whom our dreams and wishes should revolve around.
It is His birthday after all and we should ever be faithful to Him.
