I truly am His Son, He is my true Father; And we have become one, With Christ as my Brother. He has begotten me, As He has also said; I am a priest that we, Are spiritually fed. During His life on earth, Jesus Christ prayed to God; If death was really worth, In saving who were flawed. He prayed giving a plea, Crying loud pouring tears; And was heard as to see, The fading of all fears. Although he was the Son, He had learned to obey; Suffering must be done, To save those who did stray. Eternal salvation, He became the source; For a new foundation, With who will stay the course. We have much to explain, With many things to say; To those who do restrain, As they trust and obey. But you are now lazy, As you seem to be dense; And soon be stir crazy, But constructing a fence. So someone must teach you, Just milk as a baby; No solid food to chew, Just when mature maybe. Copyright © 2014 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
