Ding Bowman at the age of thirteen

Taking college courses

A young man drawn to fast draw competition
And once again rated as marksman
Sounds like a nice kid--might have been!
But he has a fascination with murder
Had in his computer books on committing the perfect crime
Only for his intelligence, his was not perfect
Yanci was almost the same age
He was a people person loved by everyone he met
Would stop to help a stranded motorist on the road
His fascination being the outdoors
He loved hiking, with my nephew, climbed Mt Rainier
Mt Saint Helen's, loved Kayaking, dog by his side

He probably didn't even notice the car
The man holding gun pulling up next to him
The trial was today first degree murder
The man who wanted to know how it felt to kill someone
Thirty years is not justice for the crime
No one on the jury believed the insanity of road rage

Their boy wouldn't do something like that
We can't always blame upbringing but someone had to know
For the first time at the trial
We well Have a chance to meet the real Yanci Noll
Defense portrayed him as a mad monster
Chasing this innocent young boy
Throwing bottles at him an hitting him in the head
A Subaru chasing down a $70,000 BMW Sport scar
A plastic bottle against a nine milimeter Glock
But one family member won't be at the trial
His beloved dog who was Yanci's constant companion
