As holy people, Whom God has elect; Should know the Gospel, And never neglect. Be sympathetic, Patient and humble; Not apathetic, And never grumble. Maybe old fashion, With showing your love; Display compassion, With your heart thereof. Forgive each other, And always be kind; Treat as a brother, For easing their mind. When showing meekness, Gentle in your ways; It will cure bleakness, To the one that strays. You should not complain, And learn to forgive; Let not anger reign. In harmony live. Let Jesus control, As you pursue peace; And give Him your soul, For ill will to cease. Richness and wisdom, Will live within you; Lured to His Kingdom, For remaining true. What you say or do, Should be in His name; All that you construe, Be as you proclaim. Copyright © 2014 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
