Poetic-Verses

'' Your Dad's Not Your Father ''

Wee Joe fell in love,
This girl he'd marry,
Like hand and glove,
Joint feelings they'd carry.

Joes Dad said son,
You can't marry Mary,
Your lives will be undone,
Why? The truth's too scary.

Mum doesn't know,
So you mustn't tell,
It would be a blow,
She'd give me hell.

Give me the facts,
Or I'll ask my Mother,
The past this re-enacts,
Joe's your half brother.

You cheated on Mum,
Well yes and no,
Some women are dumb,
She need never know.

Mary met Bill,
The man of her dreams,
For him she'd kill,
But tears flowed in streams.

Half brothers come in fours,
Dad said it's renowned,
Ours are open doors,
Our ideology's unsound.

Bill too she cried out,
We can't all be related,
Dad said we've been about,
Many lives we've created.

Interbreeding is wrong,
But among us it's rife,
It's in house we belong,
It's our way of life.

Mary then met Paul,
Her Dad said guess,
His attitude did appal,
This was a mess.

Her Mother said, okay,
Don't get in a lather,
Have your wicked way,

‘' Your Dad's Not Your Father''
