Poetry isn't always what some perceive,
Some make you laugh for others you'll grieve,
We all have opinions on what we believe,
Though encouragement does make you bolder.
If you need assistance there are those who care,
Of cajoling and encouraging we are all aware,
Some are so good it just isn't fair,
Their abilities do make some smoulder.
Writing can be like a welcoming door,
For some it's good for others it's sore,
While some enjoy it, others make it a chore,
We all have tricks in our folder.
Make it your aim to be one of the best,
Genuine and fearless when put to the test,
Strive ever harder don't ever rest,
We can live without the cold shoulder.
Critics are always so easily read,
Their aim in life playing games with your head,
For like it or not it has to be said,
