REALITY
Life demands I pursue a dream;
time vows to make it true.
But dreams detour at other dreams
and pathways get confused.
Some call it 'fate,' the journey's maze
about-faced at each wall,
wandering forward just to find
no pinnacles at all.
A gentle voice says, "Follow Me,"
a lighted way now clear,
made vivid by my faithful God,
whose wisdom's always near.
His plan for me, as set before
awaits my truancy,
for dreams awakened in His will
enrich reality.
