He Knows You!

I wrote this to encourage a person who had lost hope.

"Whispers Of Worship"

He knows every weakness, interest and dream,
every movement through hope and grief!
He knows every thought, question and glance,
and He knows what brings you relief!

He knows your emotions, both bad and good;
He knows the temptations you face!
He knows the next word that will leave your mouth;
He knows when you can't stand the pace!

There's no place to hide, no place to run,
but why should you run from the Lord?
He knows every Avenue and road you will take,
yet He says, "You're my child, rest assured."

Robert Cartwright Davidson Jan. 2015
