I sing of Spring
And lovely things
Which start to grow
A beauty to show
Unlike any other season
To like it we have much reason
To life it adds zest
Aliveness is it's quest
A soft zephyr breeze
Just puts us at ease
The birds reappear
Their chirping we hear
As a grand rally call
To come alive all
The flowers bloom
Our yards to groom
In picturesque ways
To brighten our days
So here's to the Springs
And the Joy each one brings
It won't last too long
I sing it's praise in song.
