Opening the obituaries
Took my daily check
OK, I am not there
So will have to work in the yard
One of the ladies the obituary said,
"Was so smart she skipped two grades."
Me too Junior and Senior year
But still had enough credits to graduate
Math teacher said,
"If you promise never to take Algebra again,
I well give you at least a passing mark."
The Spanish teacher said the same thing
I had a good thing going
No teacher wanted me in their class
Next year I took Geometry and Spanish two
I had a good thing going but they wised up
Had me removed from their classes
I don't see why it was offensive
Openly reading comic books in their classes
A+b=C Prove it. I went to sleep trying
Equal triangles are equal in size
So is the teacher and the girl in front roll
Junior year I took three classes of PE
And three more of Study Hall needed time to study
Sports section, Mad magazine and Mein Kampt
In college I took to studying all the ologies
No one caught on because I used different names
Heah, I was surprised as anyone they gave me a diploma
It made it a little rough in college with a 1.8 grade average
But it was in college I discovered poetry and girls
I was voted the student most likely to be in school forever
But who are they I saw both teachers names in the obituaries
So what good did Math and Spanish do for them
