'' To Decide Where We Go ''
I've had my share,
Of ups and downs,
I'm fully aware,
Of the laughs and frowns.
Good luck, bad luck,
Who's to say?
With some pluck,
Comes another day.
As far as I'm concerned,
We make our own.
Because I've learned,
What I've been shown.
Does hurting others,
Bring you relief,
The lies it smothers,
Will cause you grief.
Accept the blame,
When in the wrong,
Concealing your shame
Will only prolong
In this your life,
You have the choice,
Be it joy or strife,
You will cry or rejoice.
The ones we choose,
Will determine our fate,
Be it win or lose,
It is never too late.
That my friend,
Is up to you,
To destroy or mend,
You'll get what's due.
Show love and affection,
Forgiveness too,
Take the right direction,
You'll get what's due.
Peace and tranquillity,
Or conflict and woe,
We have the capability,
