Sometimes it feels like the invisible chains
are weighing us down
Because the walls seem to take our breath away.
And no one knows how much we are hurting inside.
Because we seem to contain it very well
But they don't understand the path
we have walked and the sorrow that
we have carried inside our hearts.
And they don't see the midnight tears that falls
like
rivers from our very eyes, because we are hurting
And the hardest part is there is no one to
comfort us
more or less knowing someone that understands
And hours and hours can go by as the silence takes over.
And within our minds we keep saying we have to contain
ourselves and get
our thoughts together before we fall off of the cliff.
Especially when it comes to us both mentally and emotionally
But the good Lord encourages us to never give up on hope
And when I reach that point I remind myself it will get better than
this because there is something more promising down that
empty road of loneliness and sadness that will soon come to an end.
Because I know in my heart that a new life will begin soon
when we find that special
friend that understands the roller coaster ride that we
have been on and they are willing to do whatever it takes
to make all things right And that's why we must hang on.
