You were brought back to life,
So focus on the things;
Above and not the strife,
With all the goodness it brings.
Where Jesus is seated,
On the right hand of God;
After He defeated,
The sins that make you flawed.
Christ holds the highest place,
Positioned on His throne;
Shining on you His grace,
The Father does condone.
Keep your mind on the things,
That are from up above;
Not of what the world brings,
That cannot give you love.
You have died and your life,
Now hides with Christ in God;
Far from toils and strife,
Made pure where you were flawed.
Your life is Jesus Christ,
And then when He appears;
Wants no longer enticed,
And chases all your fears.
Put to death whatever,
Still worldly within you;
Lustful sin you sever,
And to the Lord be true.
The passion and the greed,
And worshipping wealth;
That Satan grows his weed,
And kills spiritual health.
It is because of sin,
Makes anger come from God;
Corrupting you within;
With the things that are fraud.
Do not lie to others,
Rid yourself of the past;
Be true to your brothers,
In friendship that will last.
