Something so intrinsic
That can only be decided
By our own perception
Of what it truly means
To be
Joy for me 
Comes from the inside out
It is a state of being
Not a destination
 Enjoying the present moment
Despite the surrounding circumstances
Unconditional love for myself and others
Joy is the fibre of my Soul
Happiness is
A beautiful sunrise or sunset
The cry of a newborn
Holding hands
Watching people smile
Creating poems that inspire
Volunteering my time
Empowering others
Through joy, I create my happiness
From the inside out
