If only I could shake the dark shadows from my soul,
no matter how many tears I secretly cry, the lonely silence tells no lies.
If, I could let the sunshine in, to burn the darkness from within; but it’s
too late for redemption or the washing away of my sins.
Yesterday has come and gone and my tomorrows are all but gone.
As we all know, wishing changes nothing, therefore the mistakes are mine to keep.
So, if I had it all to do over, I would think before I made that quantum leap!
