STANDING TOGETHER

~ STANDING TOGETHER ~

I`m feeling sad, I`m feeling blue
I really don`t know what to do,
I feel I`m thwarted at each turn
Then my stomach begins to churn.

I wish I knew just what you thought
The truth was all I ever sought,
Surely I`m entitled to that
Then I would know just where I`m at.

You seem so evasive with me
Just open your eyes then you`ll see,
It wasn`t me who hurt you so
There`s no need for guilt, just let go.

We`ll not let this tear us apart
I still want to be your sweetheart,
You must try to allay my fears
And stop me crying all these tears.

Nothing else matters but us two
And our love is what we value,
Standing together we`ll be strong
Together is where we belong.
