many sides to Rosey

Scorned woman I was, swearing off love
Cynical and bitter to the bone until we met
Your almond eyes melted my icy surface
This is what love does to me...

In a rotten mood I may be sometimes, all bitching
You manage to diffuse all those with a smile
Lifting me into a sunny sky, soaring high with me
This is what love does to me...

As the clock ticked toward time
I would be graced with your presence once again
My heart races in anticipation and excitement
This is what love does to me...

And with all those fairies in the tub,
No way can I keep a straight face with you
For you made me laugh every time
This is what love does to me...

The way you wrap your arms around me
Smothering me with hugs and kisses
Bringing out such joy, happiness and giddiness
This is what love does to me...

You allow me to be purely myself
No inhibitions, no restrictions, no judgment
All the laughter, silliness and imitations we shared
This is what love does to me...

My quirks, my habits, my flaws, my passions
You embraced them all without conditions
Accepting me wholly, not only outside but inside
This is what love does to me...

We dance to the same beats, the same tunes,
Finding delight and wonder in everything together
Be it on the road, or in bed, or at a beach
This is what love does to me...

Converted this woman into a believer of love, you did
My heart, you have, on a silver platter, all just for you only
I'm yours, my almond eyes, as long as the earth keep turning
This is what you do to me...
