ten thousand minnesota lakes

ten thousand minnesota lakes, to go fishing for the prized walleye pike:
everyone that goes fishing, to hook and catch one of these tasty fish, they hoped that they might:
the walleye pike fish, is known to be a fighter so aggressive, and tough to land:
i only caught one when i was a kid, and i was so excited man:
when you would hook them and have them on the line:
you had to be calm and cool, and work them on shore nice and slow, because going too fast , and your line will snap you will find:
the local restaurants served walleye pike for dinner the most:
in minnesota, that is the game fish that everyone loved to dine on, and how good it was they would brag and boast:
we would also. fish in the lakes with grandpa with the old ten foot cane poles:
we wouldnt take long until we had a bucket of sunnies full:
once in awhile we would catch a perch or two:
and crapies, were biting, and like the sunnies they were a good catch and hard to catch, because they were fighting:
whenever we caught a bull head, or a sucker fish, or carp:
we threw them back in the water from the tarp:
fishing in minnesota is just a way of life:
everyone has a scaller to clean the fish, and a really sharp, cleaning knife:
i remember my grandma, how she would clean all of the fish, perfectly clean, then she would put them in a big empty, milk container and add water and freeze them in a block of ice:
she would share with everyone, who came to visit her, grandma was always so kind, sharing and caring and nice:
the ten thousand lakes of minnesota:
i spent most of my summers fishing, me and my brother on lake winona:
seems every town has a lake in the center:
every kid has a fishing pole i would be willing to bet for sure:
  the ten thousand lakes of minnesota. crystal pristine and clear;
it would be so exciting when a huge splash of big daddy walleye pike you would crashingly vaboom hear:
