Fear the Lord and serve Him,
Being sincere and true;
Serve with vigor and vim,
And faithfulness in you.
Get rid of the false gods,
That you served in the past;
They are nothing but frauds,
And fads will never last.
If you don't want to serve,
Then you must choose today;
Only if you have the nerve,
To rise and disobey.
Even if you do choose,
A god of another;
I will still keep my views,
Of you as my brother.
It is unthinkable,
To abandon the Lord;
Of being capable,
Letting Him be ignored.
We were a slave to sin,
When He saved our soul;
And purified within,
So He could take control.
The spectacular signs,
Right before our eyes;
While His glory shines,
Dispelling all the lies.
He guards us where we go,
Through the valley of death;
Leading to where rivers flow,
Winds comfort from His breath.
He is a holy God,
That does not tolerate;
You worshipping a fraud,
And will retaliate.
The Lord will not forgive,
Rebellious acts and sin;
In Him you will not live,
Eternally to win.
