The singing of birds as the dawn slips away,
Clear and vibrant as a bubbling brook
On a crisp Spring day,
Indelible memories,
Treaures aquired along the way,
Wide open ,
Spread like the pages of a book,
My heart laid bare,
Freely visable to those who look,
As clear as words written upon a page,
Easy to witness,
Like the Moon in it fullest stage,
I love you with a freshness that defies
Space, time or age,
Before you My Lord I kneel,
As my last page is turned
And my Book of Deeds is sealed,
Laa E laaha illalah Muhammad dur Rasulullah,

By,

Habib Abu Lateef
