THE EXCHANGE
I think of you
often and fondly
slowly~ absorbing me
adorning me
with your loyal words
Walls have fallen
and I sketch you in my mind
The outline of a man
and a faint silhouette of us
We have became the substance
to which we have encountered
and received from days of past
Those years of kaleidoscope flecks and pieces
memories of vast and far between
The present, past and future
an unusual collection of mirrors
Then, there is you and me
My thoughts, I fear are
preconceived, I am careful
as I hold your carved gestures
Can I allow you inside my prison
to break down this cage door
will you have this strength
and a surrendering commitment
Do you dare touch
the wounded blue sparrow
I have dreamed of you before
and that I have been lifted
Carried upon the folds of air
and into a spiritual breeze
that cradles me
Can you know the one with
the broken wing
where a arrow once pierced
Will you support
her flight and walk
to that field of daydreams
and the sounds of laughter
I ponder the upcoming crash
of two vessels of flesh
and its sounding vibration
The resounding dance
of orgasmic humans
I anticipate the rising scent
from two different points
of nirvana
