What do you see 
When you look at me
That I AM beautiful child
Or the color of my skin
My heart and soul
Or another statistic to the streets
Do you view me as having worth
That I can grow to be 
A poet, teacher or 
Even the president of a country
Are you only seeing through
The lens of judgement
Or can you  look past
The outside and connect
To my Soul
For I AM  everyone's child
Created in God's image
Of unconditional love
Look deep inside
I AM no different than you
A spiritual being
Having human experiences
I was created to shine my light
I AM worthy
I AM love
