We are living in the last days...
An age filled with hate and anger!
Tempers flare...offences bound...
Our souls are constantly in danger!
Humans tend to have a mindset
Of disagreement and division...
Some can't be proven wrong...
It's something they cannot envision.
One major cause of conflict
Is the refusal to extend
The same forgiveness Jesus offers.
And who can really apprehend
The importance of forgiving?
But it's a must in our adoption!
If we truly are The Father's kids
Then we really have no option!
As powerful as Grace can be
And there is no doubt it is!
Is un-forgiveness covered?
The answer only can be His!!!
His Word says it so plainly
In Saint Matthew 6:15.
I take this scripture literally...
For what else can it mean?
If you proclaim injustice
Has been rendered to your plight...
Can you convince The Father
That what you're doing now is right?
He knows the end from the beginning
And He wll not compromise.
His Word is forever settled...
Forever good...forever wise!
For as much as Jesus suffered
To forgive us of our sin...
Our excuses to hold grudges
Against others cannot win.
The way that God forgives us
Is based on how we forgive others.
Give this some thought before you snub
Your sisters and your brothers.

Matthew 6:14-15 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you,
your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do
not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

(Portion of The Lord's Prayer)

as we also have forgiven our debtors.

Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times
shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up
to seven times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven but seventy times seven.
Matthew 18:35
(For the complete story of the unmerciful servant please read Matthew 18:23-35) “This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother or sister from your heart.
Colossians 3:13
Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
