Humble Caledonian Bard

Love you the Mostest

Two and a half years old, all innocence with charms,
Surrounded with love within a family's caring arms,
This little cherub from heaven, has me easily defined
Twisted around her little finger keeping me entwined,

Piper my granddaughter, makes me feel eternally blessed,
Feeling proud for her parents building a loving family nest,
Many years of disappointment, then the miracle they sought
This beautiful little seraphim is what the angels had brought,

She is growing up too quickly, she's now a toddler at play,
We can only see her in stages because we live so far away,
Today's modern technology means we are regularly in touch,
This gorgeous wee granddaughter you can't love her too much

Telling Pampa in Tasmania and Nanny too
I love you the mostest,
“Piper” we love you.
