'' It Can Open Many Doors ''
From birth till we die,
We all have a yearning,
To what does it apply?
That subject is learning.
The birds and the bees,
The journey of life,
Though some manage with ease,
To others it's strife.
Learning to talk,
Mass communication,
Managing to walk,
Fills us up with elation.
Counting to ten,
Reading and writing,
Making a den,
All so exciting.
Truth and lies,
Which do you choose?
Try it for size,
You'll win or you'll lose.
Confidence or fears,
The choice is yours,
Laughter or tears,
Be it problems or cures.
The diversity of living,
Means the more you learn,
You'll become more forgiving,
You need not be stern.
Though there'll be times,
You may not agree,
Never think that learning bores,
Knowledge has the power of a skeleton key,
