Tic-tac goes the natural timer
In the middle of human system
Sharing the blood and nutrients
For life and its sustenance
It is our natural organizer
My heart goes on and my life goes on
I ponder the essence of life without it
And the work it does
A job that must be done
In precise natural sequence
The clock meant for you and me
Like the hour-glass emptying its contents upside down
It stops only at the last particle
Your time differs from mine
It was set at our conceptions
Its start and stop; the owner knows not!!!
Tic-tac goes the natural timer
In the middle of human system
Sharing the blood and nutrients
For life and its sustenance
It is our natural organizer
My heart goes on and my life goes on
I ponder the essence of life without it
And the work it does
A job that must be done
In precise natural sequence
The clock meant for you and me
Like the hour-glass emptying its contents upside down
It stops only at the last particle
