'' Space Is Not Your New Frontier ''

Life in space is nothing new,
An alien race is long overdue,
Do you ever wonder what we'd do?
The day they visit here.

Sensitive and caring, selfless creatures,
Helping others one of our main features,
We could be universal teachers,
But our other side they'd fear.

Though there's good there is the bad,
Some things we do drives them mad,
 Indiscriminate killing makes them sad,
To our rules we don't adhere.

Mass genocide to us means nought,
Over nothing we have fought,
A war like race just can't be taught,
We are not what we appear.

On scaring our enemies we depend
That's the message we love to send,
Nuclear bombs built to defend?
Our excuses are but austere.

They have been listening to what we say,
Observing how we love affray,
Then wondering why the Hell we pray,
It makes them shed a tear.

Our golden discs they have read,
But our alien friends aren't easily led,
By visiting us they'll end up dead,
They know we're not sincere.

Showing ourselves as a band of brothers,
While murdering and butchering others,
Our blatant lies the truth it smothers,
Our persona is but a veneer.

Your lifestyle isn't based on need,
Your arrogance is what you feed,
Humans are solely obsessed with greed,
