Welcome to My Poetry Site
Why do so many say,
they wish to turn back time,
that the years gone past,
where better,better than today.
That's not to say,
we can't look back, or shouldn't,
on the life we've lived,
it is who we are.
But not to dwell on yesterdays,
not all of them where great.
To think that all the memories made,
where happy and serene,
isn't quite the truth.
If we try to live a life of yesterday,
than what about today,
today is tomorrow's yesterday,
something to consider.
So how about giving today a chance,
I thought I might just ask.
