Who Will Be Waiting

Who will will be waiting
(*)
When our life is nearly ended
And the end of  our journey is in sight.
Who will be waiting
when our body gives up the fight
Will it be our Lord and Savior
There to take us into His fold
Or will it be the devil with
 a deed to our soul.
(*)
Jesus tells us in the Holly Bible
Come unto Me and I will give you rest
My yoke is easy and My burden is light
But the devil is always there
any time day or night
To put our faith to the test
Just waiting with a deed to our soul
(*)
Who will be there waiting
when we close our eyes in death
We know not the place or time
will it be our Lord and Savior
There to take us into His fold
Or will the devil to meet us
with a deed to our soul
If in the book of life.
Our name cannot be found
