The way of the Lord is unfair,
As if He does not even care;
Listen to me so many ways,
Wandering aimlessly these days.
A righteous person turns away.
And finds himself going astray;
He has then moved out of the light,
And no longer is doing right.
For he started to do evil things,
Because of the pleasure it brings;
So he will cheat as well as lie,
And eventually he will die.
He dies for the evil he has done,
Because he wanted to have fun;
Even though immorally wrong,
It makes him feel more tough and strong.
When a wicked man turns away,
And no longer has gone astray;
As he starts doing what is right,
He will then step into the light.
Is fair for the Lord to forgive,
And God gives him the right to live;
When he had been wicked so much,
Destroying it all with his touch.
All of the rebellious acts,
Prosecutors having the facts;
But God pardons to let him live,
For a confession to forgive.
Here is the reason God will judge,
Because He does not hold a grudge;
That is why it is fair to say,
If you vow to trust and obey.
That is why God will judge each one,
Your advocate will be the Son;
If you will sincerely believe,
Your judgment He will then reprieve.
