One Of A Kind

I cannot change just who I am...
I am completely me.
I do refuse to wear a mask...
You get just what you see!

I  may not fit the Christian mold
Of perfect in some eyes...
But I believe the definition
Of perfection's realized

In Jesus Christ and Christ alone...
So He is my sole perfection.
 I don't think I'll go wrong if
I  just walk by His direction.

I can't conform to  some idea
Of how I ought to be...
For observation's quick to prove
God loves variety.

Did He create each flower
The same color...the same length?
 Does every sunset vary?
Does every storm show the same strength?

Is each snowflake designed the same?
Each bird of the same feather?
So my contribution to the church
Does not depend on whether

I live up to someone's standards!!
Or fit the model in some mind!!
O, yes, I am my Father's child!!
 But I'm unique...one of a kind!!

1 Corinthians 9:22
When I am with those who are weak, I share their weakness,
for I want to bring the weak to Christ. Yes, I try to find
common ground with everyone, doing everything

 I can to save some.

1 Peter 3:3-4
Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding
of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the
clothing you wear— but let your adorning be the
hidden person of the heart with the imperishable
beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's
sight is very precious.

Romans 12:6-7

Having gifts that differ according to the grace
given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in
proportion to our faith; if service, in our serving;
the one who teaches, in his teaching;

1 Corinthians 12:12-27

For just as the body is one and has many members,
and all the members of the body, though many, are
one body, so it is with Christ. For in one Spirit we were
all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free
—and all were made to drink of one Spirit. For the body does
not consist of one member but of many. If the foot should say,
“Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” that
would not make it any less a part of the body. And if the ear should
say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” that would
not make it any less a part of the body. ...
