I've said "I don't love you"
But the words scorch my throat
A hollow gap where you stood,
And silent whispers of your words
Did I do a bad thing?
Or does the inevitable always stay as so
But something strange is stirring within
I can't tell if it's my heart or mind
Was it my mind's visions,
Or my heart's craves?
Where does one stop and another start
And do I even have a heart?
You have me feeling heartless
A witch in many ways
Breaking diamonds
Which you said would never crumble
'You said,' 'you said'
All your words are repeating in my mind
Is that love, or something else?
I can't figure it out
I wanted to believe in you,
To be as you wished
But you built me too strong
And made me of my own
But visions collect like memories,
And poems add up
The guilt piles up
But I can't turn back
But my heart wishes to see you,
For you to be around
Be a friend and stay
But life works in strange ways
