The Lord has heard your prayer,
And chose this time and place;
He is able to share,
With you mercy and grace.
For sacrifices made,
And all that you have done;
But you have disobeyed,
With pleasurable fun.
He may shut off the sky,
That there would be no rain;
Or make you wonder why,
Having agony and pain.
Maybe the insects might,
Devour all your crops;
Or cause a deadly plight,
As population drops.
You if called by His name,
Become meek and humble;
Go reach out and proclaim,
Rather than to grumble.
Pray and search for the Lord,
Turn from your evil way;
Let not Him be ignored,
No longer go astray.
His eyes will open wide,
As His ears will listen;
To hear you will abide,
And teary eyes glisten.
He will answer your prayer,
As He forgives your sin;
When you sincerely care,
Of corruption within.
For His eyes and His heart,
Always are just and fair;
Truehearted from the start,
Faithfully to be there.
