CELEBRATING THE BIRTH OF A SPECIAL ANGEL TODAY

Today I am celebrating the birth of a special angel
For it was on this day that she had arrived on earth
God had set his plan in motion to save this warrior

It would be another 20 years before I knew of her
We'd meet one night when our paths in life crossed
It was predestined that this meeting would take place

It was at a friends house warming party that we met
She had worked at the hospital with my friend's wife
After her shift was over she stopped by their party

We were celebrating our friends buying a new house
And as soon as I first saw her I knew this was her
She would be the one I would marry some day soon

Although people laugh when I tell them how we met
My special angel will tell them that my story's true
For she told her friends she would someday marry me

It seems that God had indeed arranged this meeting
We both sensed that this match was made in heaven
Three months later I would asked her to marry me

Our friends thought we were crazy to get engaged
They felt that we really hardly knew each other
We both knew it was right and she had said yes

She came into my life that night and saved me
She said she felt that God had whispered to her
Telling her that I was the one she dreamed of

And so it was just one year later that we wed
This beautiful angel had led me back to God
I became lost from him after my time in war

I wrongly had blamed God for my friends dying
And my heart and soul shut down till I met her
God had already planned that we would both meet

So today we will be celebrating the birth of this most special
angel, we are still very happily married, but many of our old
friends have long since gotten divorced and these were the same
people who had said that we were crazy to get engaged less than
three months after our first meeting each other and that we got
married less than a year after we'd first met that night at our
friends house warming party was even crazier. Many of them had
told us it would never work out in the end so why did we do it?
You see we both told each other later that after meeting at our
friends house that we had both prayed for God to help us find
the person we dreamed of finding and who would make our own
lives perfect. After meeting at our friends party we both knew
instantly that we were both predestined to meet at that moment
in time and we had put our own faith and our trust in God that
everything would work as he had planned it for us and meeting
my special angel is still the best thing that ever happen to me
and when God also gave us the perfect daughter and son our lives
really did become a perfect union made in heaven. We have also
been blessed with a grandson and two granddaughters as well.
