Poetic-Verses

'' You Have Torn Out My Soul ''

The destruction of life,
Is in our genes,
Though it does cause strife,
We know what it means.

The superior race?
Which is ever expanding,
Can't keep up the pace,
It has no understanding.

Diversity is the key,
Yet since our arrival,
We've refused to see,
What we need for survival.

Every creature alive,
Depends on the other,
It's how they all thrive,
These facts we smother.

In our quest for the grail,
We've bled everything dry,
In the end we will fail,
We've refused to comply.

Food or wealth,
We all had the choice,
Gold or ill health,
Repent or rejoice.

As extinctions increase,
Year on year,
The end of our lease,
Draws ever near,

The human population,
Had no concept of need,
This mad sick creation,
Was obsessed with greed.

Our seas are dying,
Underground's a large hole,
Mother Nature is crying,

‘'You Have Torn Out My Soul''
