They keep telling me
"Hang on"
there's a pot of gold
at the end of the rainbow
ended up groping my way
through the blackness
I lost my way
started in strawberry fields
but the sky turned gray
the flowers are dead
dark, dark, dark
the midgets disappeared
started raining blood
blinded my eyes
now I'm on desolation road
think I'll keep following it
instead of crossing the street
