Hope is like a silver thread
Stitched to the Word of God.
Unbreakable...unshakable...
But nothing to be viewed as odd.
A bad report can never dull
Or darken God's acclaim...
For His report will contradict
What others may proclaim.
Unbelief and doubt won't dull
The vibrant tones of faith.
There is not one shade of sickness
Which could ever violate
The spectrum of serenity
One colors with a prayer.
Like the prism of a rainbow,
Hues of hope are unaware
That black clouds of discouragement
May direct more rains to come...
For, though storms of sickness rumble,
Hope can color in the Son!
There can never be a moment
When tranquility is quenched...
When hope in a Higher Power
And trust is solidly entrenched.
Brush away cares and concerns!
Black out negatives you've heard!
You're colored by the Blood of Christ!!
Colored red...as is His Word!!

There is a song that goes “who’s report do you believe? I believe the report of the
Lord”; but you look around the world today, and that doesn’t ring true, even in
the church. Some people will tell you that God makes you sick to teach you
something. But the Bible says “I am the God that healeth thee” (Exodus 15:26).
Psalms 107:20 says “He sent His word, and healed them and delivered them from
their destruction”. Isaiah 53:4-5 says “surely He has borne our griefs and carried
our sorrows, yet we did esteem His stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But He
was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquites, the
chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His stripes we are healed”.
Salvation is not just being saved and going to heaven when you die, complete
salvation includes (Psalms 103:2-5 “bless the Lord Yahweh, O my soul, and forget
not all His benefits. Who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with
loving kindness and tender mercies. Who satisfies your mouth with good things; so
that your youth is renewed like the eagles”. No, God doesn't make anyone sick...the
devil comes to steal, to kill, and to destroy (John 10:10) How could anyone trust in a
God who would put cancer on a little child? Who would deliberately kill someone's
husband, parents, or child?. No, God takes them home (if they believed in Him) after
they have died....and He doesn't put sickness or disease on anyone. Not my Jesus! Not
my kind, loving Savior who died on a cruel Cross that I may obtain Eternal Life!
2 Corinthians 1:10 He delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. On him we have set our hope that he will deliver us again.
Romans 5:2-5 Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
Mark9:23 “Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth
