Welcome to My Poetry Site
Unwrapped and new,
untouched by fire,
A newborn breaths their first.
Placed in a cup,
Put on a pedestal,
Light by fire,
Everything is new.
Burn so bright,
A life of amazement.
Flickering in the wind,
The life changes all around.
The wax is gone, no fuel to keep on burning,
Old age is here, oh so very weary.
The flame goes out,
And so to the life,
nothing lasts forever.
