The Comet
A comet shot across the sky.
Who saw it, too?
I stood along in the night,
With only the evening sounds.
Grasshoppers and crickets chirping,
Ambivalence sounds of the evening.
It can be annoying or it can be relaxing,
Whichever the mood may be.
Silently the comet faded out,
So quickly, it makes one wonder.
Was imagination at play?
Hush, insects of the night,
Could I have heard the comet,
Perhaps, like an airplane flying by?
Nevertheless, noting is audible,
With your frenzy disturbance.
