Almighty God was mocked by the decision!
What He'd set into motion was denied!
From the dawn of civilization to the present,
Man always claimed a woman for his bride.
Yes, God presented Adam with a help mate.
For it was never good that man should live alone.
But the mate was not another male creation.
She was female ... of his flesh and of his bone.
Together they would carry out God's wishes
To subdue the land... be fruitful ...multiply.
None other copulation creates children...
What the court has deemed as marriage is a lie!
Yes, the Christian population took a hard blow!
Those who reverence God's Word are hurt, no doubt!
But the United States Supreme Court cannot stop us!
We've been knocked down but we haven't been knocked out!
Instead, this will just ignite a brand new fire!
Non extinguishable by courts of any kind!
Because it's fueled by love and flamed by deep conviction
Into a God whose Word will not be redefined!
Granted, every single one of us are sinners...
But abusing Grace is something God won't stand.
Jesus paid too great a price for our redemption
And a repentant heart is what God does demand!
When has God, in all of time, endorsed sin ever?
Just what is abomination in His sight?
We can't read His Word pretending not to see this!
And we can't change His Word to claim one's civil right!
Gay bashing has never been on our agenda
We love each and all gay persons in the world.
But we can't approve of something God's forbidden!
Guy can't lay with guy and girl can't lay with girl!
One can't trifle with the holiness of marriage!
These sacred vows a Holy God complied !
You can legalize all of your civil unions
But marriage, in God's eyes, can't be defiled!

~~Author's Note~~ I'd like to remind everyone that even if we, as Christians,
disapprove of the sin, the lifestyle of the gay community,
we are to love them...because God certainly does...and
Jesus died for their sins. Same sex marriage is not God's plan
for mankind...and we have every right to protest it...but
let's do so with God's Word...and in love. Sometimes telling
the truth hurts people...but the truth must be told! God
gives a warning...but He still grants Grace to those who
have strayed from His Will for sex....Amazing Grace!!!
The Blood of Jesus still works miracles...it can and will
set the captive free!
