caught you in a downcast deadlock
with your torsion vines unlisted
stuck inmoneyed malcontent
and a pillory carousel of hangdog masquerade
and counterfeit smiles upon your cyanide crest
you needed a soothsayer to wash away your burdens
to bring your carrion goods back to blossom
to feel you up and make you cry for happiness sake
I know you're bruised and shamed and full of decoy
but im bled and blazon and cannot tell a decent lie for humour
so see my cirrus blanket and let me twist your coronation braids
rough you up and shed the ballast skin to let you drift
to anywhere your heart will surely let you pass
