IN MY LIFE, EVERYTHING THAT HAS HAPPENED TO ME AND OCCURED--part four
HERE IS MY STORY, MORE:
WELL I HAVE TO PUT A SHOUT OUT FOR MY KINERGARDEN TEACHER MISS MCKENZIE:
SHE WAS A VERY KIND HEARTED, LOVINGT TEAcher in kindergarden class for me:
we learned to follow every rule, play together, share with each other, and be courteous , kind and thoughtful, and nice and have fun:
we knew when it was time to go, we had to be quick and not slow, to put everything neatly away, when the school day was done:
now in junior high, and high school:
i was serious, no more did i act as a class clown, so cool:
but sports consumed me every night and day:
to be the very best in the world is what i dreamed of and always prayed:
even though i practiced hard, more than most:
i never had a gold medal around my neck that i could have and brag or boast:
but i never gave up, and always gave my best
even i finished in first place, so much farther back and less:
i think that i knew all along, that the collage life, and sitting in class was just not for me:
in the winter sports banquet of 1975---i was given an award by loyd luke the swim team coach and he was an ex-MARINE--from world war two---the award was a special award given to co-captain john d. jungers, FOR THE MOST DEDICATED ATHLETE, --the coach read the award and said, well the country is in good hands, because jungers is joining the--MARINES--to keep amarica free:
