Either way she cried
He had to leave the bedsit
To care for his mothers mum
who was troubled by the perils of age
So he gave up his job and his place
Right next to the park to tend to her demise
There were 8 bodies separated by paper thin walls
And his girlfriend only came at weekends
So all the days he worked he was lonely
Another tenant in heartbreak hotel
Was a little cute with died Amber hair
She dressed a little conservative but I like to think she had secrets
Anyway she used to sit in his room all week
And you heard them laughing recollecting
Their feather losses and their 2 storey gains
They got on like a watered hole
Don't know if they were ducking or just clicked
But she was mouse quiet when the other girl arrived on weekends
And when he had to leave to put himself last
You could we that either way she cried
