Self-mutilation By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
Love don't hurt they taught me
Thought I loved myself
Self
Beautiful body, stone mind, blessed spirit amazing soul
Yet I cut myself
Mrs. Me can't afford the luxury that some options offer
The risk of being uniformed to the crowd
Despite efforts and several attempts
I always hurt myself
Denying my body of the pleasure of yours
Chasing away the hilarious thoughts of an awaited kiss
Fighting those inner drives
But these are real, I can't lie to myself
That's me wanting you
Self-mutilation
That's my best response
The smart idea my brain could produce
Cut myself it whispers
If my heart goes left
My mind will go right
There has to be a separation,
Tearing myself apart
That's my best shot
Maybe I'm wrong
Maybe I'm blind
Let me risk being all that
Crafted at self-mutilation
