And I'll lay on the sun
And watch the earth
Spin on its axis
Like a boar on a spit
And I will feel nothing
Because I will be nothing
In this silent infinity,
The inferno doesn't roar..
My thoughts are louder
Than galaxies.
And I will think of how
Laughter sounds the same
In all languages.
And of how borders only Appear
on the maps we draw
With our blood stained hands.
And when my flesh ceases to be
My soul becomes light
An insignificant star
A man names for a daughter
And I will watch a little girl
Look up at night
Wishing upon me.
