Silence
Silence? A strange creation, for to think of nothing
To lay dormant, nothing, silent, but the thought is loud!
For silence like many things, is human
For everything we know, all senses, sound, sight
Nothing more that a receipt from a till
Human money exchanged for human goods,
Processed by human change
But quiet now, we talk to loud
Such madness, such wayward thinking
We say nothing, sshh now ……….
Silence
To lay dormant, nothing, silent, but the thought is loud!
For silence like many things, is human
For everything we know, all senses, sound, sight
Nothing more that a receipt from a till
Human money exchanged for human goods,
Processed by human change
But quiet now, we talk to loud
Such madness, such wayward thinking
We say nothing, sshh now ……….
