"Just A Dream"

My soul was crushed, I could barely grasp,
And there it sat, just a gallon of gas,
I grabbed and poured it all around,
Then flung a match, As I headed for town,
I had to refrain from looking back,
The sky ahead was grey and black,
I wanted it all to just disappear,
so I stopped at the bar, for one last beer,
As I sat there and drank it, He appeared to me,
"Take this book my friend, it's a very good read,
It has all the answers, you can't get from a can,
You will find me here, in the form of a man,"
When the book hit the bar, it fell open to Psalm, I quickly began reading, with this book in my palm,
This book was a bible, and I was unaware,
but I turned my head slightly, and He was there,
He said "I want you to process, everything you read,
And I promise you, this is all just a dream,"
"You think right now, it's too much to bear, but listen my child, I'm here and I care,"
The very next day, everything was brighter, the sky was beautiful and the snow was whiter,
Without the dark, I could see no light, but now I know, what happened that night,
I was saved from destructing, the life I'd been given, I could've drove, but instead I was driven,
I didn't leave at 2, I left at eleven,
To never return, as I made it to heaven,
There I was met, by a man in white,
it was the same man, that spoke that night,
He spoke with such force, that I just had to read,
Then I woke up knowing, it was all just a dream.
