She sits in the corner
With A bloody razor at her feet
Watching As the bloodpools around her
It creates A crimson reminder of the screams that went unheard
Of all the scars she tries to hide
Now maybe she is good enough for the ones who laugh as she cries.
For a mother that is never there
Or For a father whose life gets shot up his arm from a syringe
As she sits there and fades from reality she can't help but wonder why
Her mother walks in and looks down in horror at the daughter she convinced herself was fine.
She sees the pain in her eyes as she watches her take her last breath.
They both sit in the corner one broken one gone.
Has the message finally sunk in yet?
It's been six months yet the fighting continues.
Her mother continues to stare blankly at the man she so foolishly loves
Her world goes black as his fist connects
The pain a brutal reminder of the life she used to have
On her knees she screams for the last time
The loudest cry for help that everyone ignores.
Is he happy now he thinks to himself as he holds her limp body in his arms
Her bloodpools around him
A crimson reminder of the life he just took
She was never good enough but neither was he,
He stands and kicks her lifeless body to the side
His heartbeat in tune with his footsteps
As He picks up the gun
Emotions cloud his judgment
Hate
Anger
Despair
Desperation
But most of all fear
Fear it's a funny thing
It can make even the sanest of men crazy
The gun tickles the back of his throat gagging him
The metallic taste of the gun barrel and the coppery taste of blood push him further over the edge
His finger shakes where it lay on the trigger
Seconds pass before His lifeless body hits thefloor next to his wife
His blood coats everything leaving a crimson reminder of the family he once loved only to destroy.
